Saturday 14th of November, the date for your diary. The grand start to our Christmas Spectacular festivity weekends. From then until Christmas the park will stay open until 6pm every Saturday and Sunday during November and 7pm in Dec except Xmas Eve when closing time will be 4pm. As the evenings draw in, the Market Square will come alive with hundreds of twinkling lights and decorations. The shops will be full of goodies (forget those diets its Christmas), stocking fillers, small toys, the full range of CHERISHED TEDDIES, PIGGIN' PIGS and SNOW BABIES, as well as a large selection of collectors Teddy Bears and fabulous collectors Dolls, Christmas Decorations and lots, lots more.
In the market square you will be greeted by smiling staff wearing traditional costumes and entertained at various times by clowns and children's entertainers, Punch and Judy shows and musicians. There will also be stalls selling hot soup, hot dogs and fruit punch besides the welcoming cafes. And don't forget kids and big kids alike (mums, dads, grandparents and all) will love a trip on the Santa's sleigh ride starting with the journey through the mouse's tale. But the highlight for all the children between 2 years and 10 years old will be when they visit Santa in his very own house and receive a lovely present. (Santa is in his lovely house every day from the 14th November to Christmas Eve). At busy times some children might wish to receive their free gift from Mother Christmas in her beautiful house, or from the Beautiful Snow Queen in her wonderful Ice Land, instead. Tickets can be bought for £2.00 each for children under 2 years so they can receive a free gift from Santa, but they can only be bought at the ticket office when entering the park. Although the Indoor Play Area, Cafes and most of the attractions will stay open, some of the park will close at 4.00pm
