This guide is designed to help guest with disabilities to have a magical
adventure here at Sundown.
Parking ; When arriving at sundown please make your way to the designated
parking area at the entrance gate
Buying your tickets; Those who are able to provide proof of disability (i.e. blue/orange badge or similar ) will be able to purchase discounted tickets to the park for themselves.
If you need help in buying your tickets please speak to a staff member who will be glad to help you.
Park access; sundown is 75% accessible to wheelchairs and is very flat with no hills , there are path ways all round the park (except the cowboy street which is partly bark with wooden
boardwalks.
Toilets; the toilets with disabled access are available in the main toilet block by the entrance and in the junglemania café on the cowboy street.
Ride access; most rides and attraction are accessible with a wheelchair, however on all the rides you need to be able to transfer from a wheelchair onto the ride with the help of your carer , who will have to sit with you on that ride to assist you on and off . ( carers will also have to be able to assist you in the event of an emergency ) |

Welcome visits by disabled people and will do all that is possible to ensure a safe and
pleasurable stay. However, certain rides and attractions in our park can be physically
demanding and vigorous. We therefore reserve the right to refuse admission to certain rides should we feel there is a danger to a particular individual for whatever reason.
We have been advised by the health and safety executive that refusal on the grounds of health and safety does not constitute discrimination.
We hope that you understand and accept the decisions made in the interest of health and safety. Wheelchair hire; sorry at this time we do not hire wheelchairs
